The Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance represents integrated aid instrument for pre-accession period which is available to the Republic of Croatia in Financial Perspective 2007 - 2013.

The primary objectives of IPA programme are provision of assistance to candidate countries and potential candidates in harmonization with acquis communautaire and its implementation, as well as preparation for utilization of Cohesion and Structural Funds. 

IPA programme consists of the following components:

-          Transition Assistance and Institution Building    

-          Cross-Border Cooperation                                                                             

-          Regional Development (Transport, Environment, Regional Competitiveness)

-          Human Resources Development 

-          Rural Development
