The primary objectives of IPA programme are provision of assistance to candidate countries and potential candidates in harmonization with acquis communautaire and its implementation, as well as preparation for utilization of Cohesion and Structural Funds.
IPA programme consists of the following components:
- Transition Assistance and Institution Building
- Cross-Border Cooperation
- Regional Development (Transport, Environment, Regional Competitiveness)
- Human Resources Development
- Rural Development
