Glossary: European Union Solidarity Fund (EUSF)

An instrument established by the Council Regulation No. 2012/2002/EC enabling rapid, efficient and flexible response to the major disasters or crises in the Member States. It is continuing in the Financial Perspective 2007-2013 in a similar form, but with enlarged scope and improved implementation system. The upper limit for utilisation of the Fund is 1 billion € per year.
Instrument uspostavljen Odlukom Vijeća br. 2012/2002/EZ koji omogućava brzu, učinkovitu i fleksibilnu reakciju na velike katastrofe ili krize u državama članicama. Instrument nastavlja postojati u Financijskoj perspektivi 2007.-.2013. u sličnom obliku, ali s većim opsegom i boljim sustavom provedbe. Gornja granica za korištenje Fonda je jedna milijarda eura godišnje.
