Decentralizirana tijela Europske unije uspostavljena na određeno vrijeme radi upravljanja s jednim ili s više programa Zajednice. Pravna osnova za njihovo osnivanje je Uredba Vijeća br. 58/2003/EZ. Smještena su u sjedištu Europske komisije (u Bruxellesu ili Luksemburgu). Primjeri agencija su: Izvršna agencija za obrazovanje, audiovizualni sektor i kulturu, Izvršna agencija za Program javnog zdravlja i Izvršna agencija za inteligentnu energiju.
Decentralised bodies of the European Union established for a fixed period of time for management of one or more Community Programmes. The legal basis for their establishment is the Council Regulation No. 58/2003/EC. Their location has to be at the seat of the European Commission (Brusseis or Luxembourg). Examples of the Agencies are: Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, Executive Agency for the Public Health Programme, and Intelligent Energy Executive Agency.
