Glossary: Security and Safeguarding Liberties Framework Programme

One of the three framework programmes in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice established for the period 2007-2013. The programme's budget amounts to 735 million €. It aims at ensuring an effective operational co-operation in the fight against crime and terrorism. The framework programme consists of two financial instruments encompassing the following specific programmes: "Prevention of and Fight against crime" and "Prevention, Preparedness and Consequence Management of Terrorism and Other Security Related Risks". It continues activities of the former AGIS programme.
Jedan od tri okvirna programa na području slobode, sigurnosti i pravde uspostavljen za razdoblje 2007.-2013. Proračun programa je 735 milijuna eura. Cilj mu je osigurati djelotvornu operativnu suradnju u borbi protiv kriminala i terorizma. Okvirni se program sastoji od dva financijska instrumenta koji uključuju sljedeće posebne programe: „Sprječavanje i borba protiv kriminala" i „Sprječavanje, pripravnost i upravljanje posljedicama terorizma i drugim sigurnosnim rizicima". Program nastavlja bivši program AGIS.
