Program Unije na području javnog zdravlja uspostavljen za razdoblje od 2003. do 2008. godine Odlukom Europskog parlamenta i Vijeća br. 1786/2002/EZ. Proračun mu je 312 milijuna eura. Cilj mu je poboljšati informacije i znanje o javnom zdravlju, ojačati sposobnost brze i koordinirane reakcije u slučaju prijetnji zdravlju te promovirati zdravlje i prevenciju od bolesti. Program provodi Izvršna agencija za Program javnog zdravlja.
The Union Programme in the field of public health established for the period 2003-2008 by the Decision of the European Parliament and the Council No 1786/2002/EC. Its budget amounts to 312 million €. Its aim is to improve information and knowledge for the development of public health; to enhance the capability of responding rapidly and in a coordinated fashion to threats to health; and to promote health and prevent disease through. The programme is implemented by the Executive Agency for the Public Health Programme.
