PHARE project on export control presented
The Finance Ministry on Wednesday presented the PHARE twinning project "Export Control System Implementation - Project Management Support", which is being implemented by the Croatian Customs Administration in cooperation with the Customs Agency of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Twinning project on improvement of Croatia's customs administration closed
The PHARE 2005 twinning project called "TARIC (Tarif Integre Communautaire) Adaptation - Management Support Twinning", was closed in Zagreb at a ceremony on Tuesday after that EUR 992,000 project was implemented in the last 17 months.

Maritime transport control, management system to be operative next year
Croatia is expected to have a modern maritime transport control and management system in use next year, the head of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Directorate for Maritime Policy, Mario Babic, said on Friday.

PHARE project designed to improve Croatian statistical system completed
A project designed to restructure and develop the Croatian statistical system, which is part of the European Union's PHARE 2005 programme, has facilitated significant progress in all areas of statistics in Croatia, it was said at the presentation of the results of the project in Zagreb on Wednesday.
