Job Advertisement: RTA Assistant
The German Foundation for International Legal Co-operation, Ministry of Justice and Office for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime (USKOK) will cooperate in implementation of Twinning project financed from EU pre-accession funds. In order to ensure duly implementation of thise project, Resident Twinning Advisor (RTA) will reside in Croatia for two years and requires an Assistant in aforementioned period.

TAIEX workshop 'Transition to Decentralised Implementation System without Ex-Ante Control' held in the premises of CFCA
During the week, TAIEX workshop named 'Transition to Decentralised Implementation System without Ex-Ante Control' was held in premises of CFCA. The workshop was organised by European Commission in cooperation with CFCA and lasted two days, from 30th November to 1st December 2009. Its participants were CFCA employees and employees of other institutions responsible for implementation of EU funded projects. The main purpose of this workshop was transfer of experiences from colleagues from EU member states - Great Britain, Portugal, Italy, Czech Republic, Romania and Latvia related to transition of Croatian’s institutions to decentralized management system of EU funds without ex-ante control.

Job advertisement: Resident Twinning Advisor Assistant
The Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) are working with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development (MAFRD) in Zagreb as part of a European funded Twinning project. The main aim of the project is further capacity building in the area of Plant Protection Products and Pesticide Residues of the Croatian Plant Health Service. A Resident Twinning Advisor from CRD will be based in Zagreb for a period of 15 months and require an assistant for that period.

Results of EU-funded customs control project presented in Zagreb
The results of the PHARE 2006 twinning project "Export Control System (ECS) Implementation - Project Management Support" was presented in Zagreb on Thursday. The EUR 250,000 project was implemented by the Croatian Customs Administration in cooperation with the Customs Agency of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance from December 2008 until July 2009. It was fully funded by the European Union.
