Improvement of Free Legal Aid System
On Friday the 16th of December 2011, the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia, and Kaunas Service of legal aid guaranteed by the State of the Republic of Lithuania marked the official start of IPA Twinning light project “Improvement of Free Legal Aid system”.The project is of great importance for Croatia in the framework of the EU accession process.

Project for preparation for utilization of funds from Cohesion and Structural Funds
Central Finance and Contracting Agency has signed a contract on Implementation of ex-ante Evaluation of Programming Documents and Strengthening Evaluation Capacity for EU Funds Post-Accession financed in the scope of pre-accession fund IPA I 2008 – Transition Assistance and Institution Building. This contract is focused on financing activities which will contribute to more efficient utilization of funds from Cohesion and Structural Funds.

Closing Event of the Project "CroCompete"
Two-year IPA Project CroCompete – Implementing Croatian Competition and State Aid Policies” has been successfully completed this month. The project was aimed at strengthening Croatian Competition and State Aid Policies and improving the knowledge and understanding of the business community, the general public, local authorities and students of benefits that efficient market competition brings to consumers and tax payers.
