EURES services to employers
Opening ceremony of the project „EURES services to employers“ were held at the premises of the European Union Info Centre.
The overall objective of this project is to promote mobility and recruitment on the European level, and its purpose to support the Croatian Employment Service in the development of quality EURES services for employers. The Twinning partners involved in this project include the Croatian Employment Service and the Swedish Public Employment Service. The project is worth 200.000 € and it will last until 19 February 2013.
New Twinning project started
Opening ceremony marked the beginning of the Twinning project “Enhancement of the CTA administrative and institutional capacity in the field of application of VAT EU common system".
The objectives of this project are to strengthen the Croatian Tax Administration functions in order to provide successful implementation of VAT regulations concerning EU common market. The project, with a budget of € 800.000,00, is funded by the European Union and the implementation of the activities will last 21 months.
Twinning light project for the Ministry of Justice
Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia, and the Center for International Legal Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, marked the official start of IPA Twinning Light Project “Strengthening Administrative Capacities of the Croatian Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia”.
Improving the administrative and managerial capacities of the staff in the Croatian Ministry of Justice is at the core of this newly launched Twinning Light Project. In the next 6 months Dutch and Croatian experts will closely work together to develop a managerial competency model for the Ministry of Justice, to draft a strategy for Human Resource Management in the Ministry of Justice, and to strengthen the capacities of the Ministry’s staff.
Final event for the project "Chemical safety"
The final outcomes of the two year project “IPA 2007 project Technical Assistance for Strengthening the Legal Framework and Institutional Infrastructure for Protection from Dangerous Chemicals” (IPA 2007 - Chemical Safety) were officially presented at a visibility event.
This project was designed to assist the authorities and the chemical industry in preparing for the challenge of complying with a number of European regulations concerned with protecting people and the environment from the risks from dangerous chemicals. The project had four components which were led by experts from the Member States of the European Union working in collaboration with the Croatian authorities and the industry.
Twinning project implemented by the Judicial Academy of Croatia
The opening event of the Twinning Light project "Strengthening the work of the State School for Judicial Officials through upgrading its professional training programmes and work flow" was held at the premises of the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Zagreb. The project is financed from the European Union IPA 2008 Programme and jointly implemented by the Judicial Academy of Croatia, the Spanish Centre for Legal Studies and the Spanish General Council of the Judiciary.
The main objective of this project with a total budget of 198.921,75 EUR is to enhance the professionalism and efficiency of the judiciary in Croatia through raising the quality of initial training for future judges and state.
Twinning light project “Verification of EU conformity of the Croatian Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN)”
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatia presented the Twinning light project “Verification of EU conformity of the Croatian Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN)” financed under EU IPA Programme for Croatia.
The objective of this project worth € 222.222 is upgrading the quality of information provided through Croatian agricultural statistics and further strengthening of existing Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) in accordance with EU requirements.
Strengthening the capacities for control of transboundary movement of waste
In Zagreb the formal opening ceremony of Twinning project “Strengthening the capacities for control of transboundary movement of waste” was held. The project, with a budget of 1,160,000 EUR, is financed by the European Union under the IPA 2009 Programme and co-financed by the Republic of Croatia and will last until February 2014.
Strengthening Capacities of the Ministry of Interior for Crime Prevention
The Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Croatia and the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Croatia have opened the Twinning Light Project “Strengthening Capacities of the Ministry of Interior for Crime Prevention” financed under EU IPA 2008 Programme for Croatia. The objective of this project worth € 200 000 is to enhance the level of crime prevention in the Republic of Croatia, in line with the related European policies and following the best practices of the EU Member States.
