Presentation of Project “Strengthening of the Tax Administration in the fight against corruption”
The Delegation of the European Union and Tax Administration of the Republic of Croatia presented the IPA 2008 FPP RAC Twinning Light Project “Strengthening of the Tax Administration in the fight against corruption”, financed by the European Union.
The overall objective of the project was to improve the legal and institutional framework for efficient and systematic combating corruption, to contribute to the rise of public awareness on harmfulness of corruption and to create conditions for preventing corruption in Croatian Tax Administration.
The specific objective of the project was strengthening accountability and transparency of work in the Croatian Tax Administration and raising the efficiency with regard to detection and prosecution of corruptive offences.
The total value of the project is 224.543,67 EUR.
This twinning light project was being implemented with the assistance of Agency for European Integration and Economic Development (AEI) c/o Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance.
The project started on 16 May 2011. and ended on 03 February 2012..
