It was fully funded by the European Union.

]]> The purpose of the project was to assist the Croatian Customs Administration in developing and introducing a new computerised export control system so the Croatian system could connect to the EU systems, Customs Administration Assistant Director Zlatica Tomasevic said.

Fulvio Bianconi of the European Commission Delegation said the main objective of the project was to replace paper documents with electronic ones, improve control, combat fraud, and speed up the flow of goods. (Hina)
