Closing ceremony of the Twinning project “Establishing a comprehensive system for anti-discrimination protection”

The Office of the Ombudsman, Office for Human rights of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Croatia held the Closing ceremony of the Twinning project “Establishing a comprehensive system for anti-discrimination protection” financed under EU IPA 2009 Programme for Croatia. The objective of this project worth € 690,000 was to establish an efficient and effective system for combating discrimination, thus raising the level of protection against discrimination in the Republic of Croatia. The project strengthened the capacity of the two beneficiary institutions – the Office of the Ombudsman as the central body responsible for combating discrimination and the Office for Human Rights and Rights of National Minorities as the state body most directly involved in combating discrimination.
