Ex-ante Control over Public Procurement Procedures and Contracting Process of Projects Co-Financed from EU Funds Abolished
Zagreb – European Commission abolished previous (ex-ante) control over Public Procurement and Contracting Process of Projects Co-Financed from IPA Component I pre-accession programme.
European Commission transferred the obligation and responsibilities related to control over public procurement procedures and contracting process of projects co-financed from European Union within the framework of IPA Component I to Croatian institutions. In accordance with EU regulations, through the aforementioned process of transfer of responsibilities for tendering and contracting procedures, Croatian institutions are given recognition for previous quality efforts. This recognition emphasises the fact that the system is prepared for further independent management of public procurement processes financed from EU funds.
