Official closing of twinning project «Health and Safety at Work»
On July 3rd 2012 a formal final conference marked the official closing of IPA 2007 twinning project «Health and Safety at Work».
The objective of this project worth € 1.254.000 was aiming at increasing the effectiveness of the occupational health and safety system (OHS) in Croatia. The focus was to fulfill the EU standards, as well as to strengthen the administrative capacities of all relevant institutions: Ministry of Labour and Pension System of the Republic of Croatia, State Inspectorate of Republic of Croatia, Croatian Institute for Health Protection and Safety at Work and Croatian Institute for Health Insurance, in line with the benchmark for Chapter 19 – Social Policy and Employment of the negotiations, in process of Croatia’s accession to the EU.
