The objective of this project worth €800,000 is to enhance the capacity of the Croatian law enforcement agencies and judicial system in the fight against sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children and on providing assistance to the vulnerable crime victims.
The expected results of the project include:
- Developing Interagency Protocols for crimes of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children and Standard Operating Procedures for police officers and State Attorneys in these investigations
- Enhance the level of knowledge and skills of police officers, State Attorneys, judges, health and social care professionals on detecting, reporting and investigating sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children and on providing assistance to vulnerable crime victims.
- Awareness campaign including establishment of a specialized Internet site focused on victims and children at risk, with the aim of providing information and encouraging crime reporting.
