Project beneficiary is the Croatian Mine Action Centre and the total project is worth 4 million EUR and consists out of 4 demining projects. The funds will be spent for demining of areas of Vukovar-SrijemCountyand Osijek-BaranjaCounty. There will be the total of 3,4 square kilometers of mine suspected area demined out of that 1.655.246 m2 in Vukovar-Srijem County and 1.789.684 m2ofOsijek-BaranjaCounty.
The realization of this project will have an impact on the improvement of the overall conditions for sustainable return of refugees and displaced persons, improvement of economic and social conditions in the war affected areas, sustainable development of rural areas, reconstruction and development of rural economy, and improvement of rural infrastructure.
