Within the project 'Development for Development', designed for the needs of local economy and restructuring of entrepreneurship in the rural area, different training programmes were implemented, as people are of key importance for permanent and complete development. Their results were presented yesterday at the final conference in Sveti Križ Začretje.
The project was implemented by the Development Agency of Zagorje region together with the Slovenian partner, the Development Agency Sotla, within Phare 2005 programme CBC Slovenia-Hungary-Croatia. The main purpose of the project was to raise the level of education of rural inhabitants, entrepreneurs and the supporting society. The training programmes for entrepreneurs, craftsmen, farmers were created in cooperation with the Institute for international relations, taking into consideration the analysis of the survey where entrepreneurs expressed which education would be needed.
In cooperation with Educator Ltd. Company, three groups of training and education were focused on the development of human resources for the needs of economy - training for small and medium-size enterprises, for the development of the rural area, and training for so called Eurogroup, i.e. for design and management of projects financed from the EU funds. In that respect, the county of Krapina-Zagorje 66 future project managers were educated.
Two scientific-research publications were published: Analysis of human resources in the County of Krapina-Zagorje and a part Savinja region in Slovenia and View of development of human resources.
The total budget of the project was 101.235,00 euros, of which the EU granted 75 percent and the Krapina-Zagorje County the rest of the amount.
