The result of the project was focused on strengthening the administrative capacity of the Croatian Tax Administration in order to successfully prepare Central Liaison Office (CLO) staff for implementation of tasks concerning the administrative cooperation and mutual assistance in the field of taxation. In the framework of the upcoming EU accession process, the project was of great importance for Croatia as it helps to strengthen administrative capacities of CTA through updating existing legislation, working procedures, Guidelines and Manual dealing with administrative cooperation in the field of taxation. This enables CLO to keep up with legislative changes and improve its working procedures in accordance with legislations and best practice of the European Union.
