The project will improve Croatian EPR system to fulfil reporting requirements primarily towards the EU and UN, but also ensure data quality to general public and decision makers. The Croatian National Portal of Environmental Pollution Register will be improved through development of web portal which will provide easier data access for the industry, experts, general public, as well as competent authorities and relevant institutions. Apart from the CAEN, this project will also include the following institutions: Ministry of Environmental and Nature Protection, Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, Hrvatske vode (legal entity for water management), competent administrative bodies in the counties and the City of Zagreb, Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Ministry of Agriculture – Directorate of Water Management.
