This twinning project is expected to contribute to ensuring sufficient operational capacities and qualified staff for supporting the border control as well as in improvement of the co-operation with the national border control authorities, especially between Border Police and Customs Administration. Subsequently to the fact that cooperation in some working procedures (e.g. processing in case of smuggling of cigarettes, goods etc.) has further potentials for enhancement, this twinning project is expected to facilitate this issues as well.
