The project started with implementation in March 2017 and will last 6 months. The main beneficiary is Forensic Science Centre (FSC) “Ivan Vučetić” of the Ministry of Interior. The budget for the implementation is 150.000 EUR. The project is financed by the EU Transition Facility Programme mechanism. The objective of the project is to develop procedures for implementing and using of advanced statistical programs for DNA mixtures and familial/relatives search and to train forensic DNA experts in order to enhance the efficiency of Forensic Science Centre (FSC) “Ivan Vučetić” of the MoI and to consequently increase police and judicial cooperation.
