The IPA 2009 technical assistance project was implemented through two contracts. AAM Consulting implemented the €280,000 contract for the “Business process analysis and improvement in the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices”, and Ericsson Nikola Tesla was awarded €839,999 worth “Digital archival information system software in the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices”. The projects aimed at supporting Croatian participation in European medicines network based on sharing current common standards through the creation of communication and information exchange system. The project implementation has resulted in the Agency’s efficient preparation for full participation in the European medicines network and in the overall increase in its operational efficiency.
