Results of EU-funded project "Internationalisation of Cross-Border Entrepreneurship" presented

Project leader Irma Dracic said that the project helped entrepreneurs in northern Croatia exchange their experiences with their Slovene colleagues and increase their exports to Slovenia.

She said that a web site had been created, providing information on supply and demand for goods and services, and that it was used by all 250 entrepreneurs participating in the project.

The EUR 101,460 project was carried out by Varazdin County with the financial support of the European Union from the PHARE 2005 pre-accession programme. Varazdin County provided 26 per cent of the funds.

Dracic said that the project would continue through further cooperation and exchanges of experience with Slovenes. (Hina)
