Results presented of PHARE programme for employment of socially excluded

Over 60% of the 220,000 registered with the HZZ have been jobless for more than three years and belong to the group of people difficult to employ, said HZZ manager Ankica Paun Jarallah.

Through the aforementioned 11 projects, 500 people have been trained to look for a job, more than 300 have been individually supported in looking for a job, and more than 200 have received qualifications for various jobs.

About 100 persons have landed a job, but the HZZ and the European Commission expect this figure to increase in the next two to three months.

According to the HZZ, it is always a problem to motivate people to invest in further education. (Hina)
